People often ask me where do i get my inspiration from, firstly girlie magazines like Cosmo and Vogue. Secondly i am a big film buff and i watch films in a different way to most people where if i see a scene or pose i like i will try and mimic or copy it. My other souce of inspiration is from talented photographers around the world.

Everyone and his Aunty seem to be compiling lists these days, from The best of, top 100.Top 50 and so on and so on. This is a great idea for self promotion as well as inspiring other photographers to move forward and be more creative in their photography.

I visit many blogs every week that showcase photographers who push the boundaries and are highly creative and original in there ideas. Here are my favourite Movers and Shakers that inspire me to constantly improve and try new ideas in my photography.

I would just like to wish my Grandparents a Happy Wedding Anniversary today as they celebrate 69 years today..WOW! My grandad was 90 on August 1st and is still going strong.

Can anyone tell me what is associated with 70 years of marriage?

Its certainly great when you get e-mails from Brides complimenting you on your work, I received this today from Danielle & Craig's wedding in July.

The comments just add to an already passionate and creative job that i continue to improve and look for new ideas to push the boundaries in creative wedding photography.

Where do we start? Well…. Thank you ever so much for being our photographer for our special day. We had seen previous work of yours before and you came highly recommended by friends and family, and now we know why.
The pictures you have taken for us are amazing and so natural, you have captured our day at Shuttleworth Manor the way we truly remember it, fun and full of life. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Summer is back if only for a couple of days. As a Wedding Photographer the light can be fantastic this time of year, the great thing about this country is the ever changing seasons.

At this time of year when the nights are closing in the skies change so quick.

Many thanks to all the new brides to be for 2010 and 2011, I know searching for a Nottingham wedding photographer that offers everything you want is hard going.        Please make sure that if you found me via a search that you fill in your e-mail address on the contact page as it is so frustrating getting enquiries with no address or e-mails to send prices or details. On Sunday i was attending at Pride Park Derby to exhibit my work at The Wedding show organised by White media.
